Amtrak Ho Scale Pacific Parlour Car 39972 Napa Valley Custom Walthers Hi-level

HELLO, AND THANK YOU FOR LOOKING!! Up for sale is a custom decorated and lighted on both levels Amtrak Pacific Parlour car in HO scale. This car started out as a Walthers Santa Fe Hi-Level Sky Lounge but has been updated to the Amtrak Phase IVb 39972 Napa Valley car.

Interior is fully painted on both levels and decorated with red bench seats and blue couches. I have upgraded the interior with overhanging tablecloths on the dining tables, printed place settings, and tiny replicas of the menus typically found in these cars. Also the interior features wood grain paneling on the walls and the smaller tables.

Several HO scale people are enjoying the car as well. I added 2 cool-white LEDs to the lower level since the Walthers light kits did not provide this option. The lights work on DC and DCC and need no special configuration for either. The stripe and Pacific Parlour herald decals are on simulated paneling, just like the real thing.

Wheel points lubricated with Labelle 107. Original box, decals, and paperwork included. Looks great with your other Walthers Proto Superliners. The scarcity and base cost of these walthers cars really hampers making any more of these, and this is my last one for a while.

So get yours while you can. Unique car configuration that wasnt done by Walthers and probably wont be. If you are running 18 inch radius curves, you will have wheel turning radius alignment issues. The last picture shows small ladders on both sides of the car that need to be removed.

Cut the ladders off and you will be fine. I have successfully run these with the regular Walthers superliners and they will negotiate 18 inch curves with the ladders removed.
